Description

Spectrum Herbal Cough Relief contains natural herbs traditionally used to give symptomatic relief of dry throaty cough,  bronchial cough and catarrh of the upper respiratory tract.

DOSAGE

Take 2ml (40 drops) in cold liquid such as water or juice three times daily.

Spectrum Herbal Cough Relief Ingredients

Thyme, Echinacea, Elecampane, Horehound, Sundew, Liquorice and Fennel, Glycerol, Ethanol, Purified Water.

Herbs Traditional use

Thyme; traditionally used for bronchitis, as well as whooping cough, and sore throat. It also assists with colic, arthritis, upset stomach, stomach pain, diarrhea, intestinal gas and as an appetite stimulant.
Echinacea; well known as an immune booster and widely used to fight infections, especially colds, flu, and other upper respiratory infections.
Elecampane; traditionally used for respiratory issues such as asthma, bronchitis, and whooping cough. Also used to prevent coughing and as an expectorant to help loosen mucous.
Horehound; known to help with loss of appetite, indigestion, bloating, gas, diarrhea, constipation, and liver and gallbladder complaints. Other traditionally uses include lung and breathing problems such as cough, whooping cough, asthma, bronchitis, and swollen breathing passages.
Sundew works to help break up chest congestion by thinning mucous and making it easier to cough up (as an expectorant). People also traditionally drank it as a tea for various breathing problems including bronchitis, asthma, whooping cough (pertussis), windpipe infections (tracheitis), coughing fits, and dry cough.
Liquorice, native to the Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Most commonly used for various digestive complaints including stomach ulcers, heartburn, colic, and ongoing inflammation of the lining of the stomach. However, it has a long list of uses which include sore throat, bronchitis, cough, and infections caused by bacteria or viruses.
Fennel, a well known plant used for various digestive problems including heartburn, intestinal gas, bloating, loss of appetite, and colic in infants. It is also used for upper respiratory tract infections, coughs, bronchitis among other things.
