Spectrum Herbal Chesty Cough Relief contains natural herbs traditionally used for the relief of cough including bronchial cough. Spectrum Herbal Chesty Cough Relief may assist with the symptomatic relief of productive coughs and sore throats. It is also both an antioxidant and an expectorant to aid in general cleansing.

 

DOSAGE

5ml in cold liquid such as juice or  water,  3 times daily.

Mullein, Dandelion, Rosehip, Elecampane, Fennel, Sundew, Liquorice and Ethanol, Purified Water.

 

About the Herbs

Mullein promotes the ejection of mucus from the lungs. Mullein traditionally used to manage respiratory disorders such bronchitis, cough, whooping cough, tuberculosis, pneumonia, colds, chills, flu, fever, and also sore throat.

Dandelion, used sometimes to treat infections, especially viral infections

Rosehip naturally beneficial in vitamin C, A, E, and B-complex, as well as calcium, iron, selenium, manganese, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium, sulfur, silicon, and zinc. Furthermore, it contains the organic compounds, such as lycopene, pectin, lutein, beta-carotene. The antioxidant components, include flavonoids, phytochemicals, and carotenoids.

Elecampane is used for lung diseases including bronchitis and whooping cough.

Fennel is mainly know to promote a digestive system. Fennel also used for upper respiratory tract infections, coughs and bronchitis.

Sundew helps break up chest congestion by thinning mucous and making it easier to cough up (as an expectorant). It also reduces spasms.

Liquorice contains chemicals thought to decrease swelling, thin mucus and decrease cough
